Pamporovo

The attractive Bulgarian winter resort Pamporovo is 85 km away from the town of Plovdiv in the magnificent Rhodopi. It is 1650 m above sea level at the foot of Snejanka peak (1926 m). The average annual temperature in the resort is 8.5?C. There are 8 ski tracks in the resort, 8 ski lifts and a capacity of more than 2500 places in modern and luxurious buildings. The total length of the ski tracks is 25 km, the longest one is Snejanka 6 (3.8 km). They are of different difficulty according to the level of skiing ability. There are ski rent facilities, ski school and for the extreme sports lovers there is a special snowboard track. The hotel buildings are completely reconstructed, in each restaurant you can try the delicious local dishes. Pamporovo is also on the crossroad to many routes.
